User Interface – General

1. Emotes

This drop-down list contains actions you would like your character to perform.  Bowing, pointing and nodding are a few examples.

2. Chat prompt

Type here to write a message and press enter to send it to those in the  same channel as you.  You can use special commands in the prompt to perform certain actions or modify the output of your message.

Special Commands

1. Help

Type /help in the prompt to see a list of all possible modifiers and their uses.

2. Actions

Type /me <action> to have your character perform the action you specify.

3. Emotes

Type /emote <emote name> to have your character perform emotes. This has the same result as selecting the emote from the ‘Emotes’ drop down list.

4. Guild Title

Typing /guild <guild name> will change your guild tag  (located below your character’s name, in green colored font) to the new one you just specified.

3. Chat Log

All chat messages sent by you or other players will appear here.

4. Store

Looking to offload some of your loot and spend it on some new equipment for your character? Look no further. The store is always stocked with new and powerful items to make you even more of a force to be reckoned with.  Be careful, however!  You may be able to afford that shiny new sword or armor, but your character must have the correct level requirements in order to equip it!

5. Profile

All the information you could ever wanted to know about your character. Your level along with your 6 primary attributes are listed. These attributes depend on your race, your level and current equipment. You will also find your characters ranking based on kills, deaths,  victories and defeats.

6. Skills

Click here to purchase new skills or assign ones that are already in your possession. Skills will bolster your primary attributes and will vary in their effect. Some make you stronger, others,  more durable or better able to recover after a difficult battle. Select the skills that will boost the attributes you want.  Skills have level requirements, so don’t expect to be able to go for that level 80 skill right away!

7. Inventory

All items that you have collected are stored here.  This is also the place where you can place a newly acquired piece of equipment on your character. Notice how there is an item slot for helmets, boots, gloves and everything in between.  Remember, just because an item is in your inventory, this doesn’t mean you can equip it right away; some have level and/or race requirements.

8. Fight

Ready to give other players a close up view of your shiny new battle axe? Click here to enter a Tournament Battle, or create your own Free-For-All match and invite other players to join you in glorious combat. Why not throw in a few NPCs for good measure and a little extra challenge? The more players or NPCs you vanquish, the more XP you will gain which will help you level up your character to become even more powerful! Let us show you how to get started. Clicking the Fight button will lead you to the Create/Join menu shown below.
